query 2004: I'm trying to identify my Great-Great Grandmother Leah Mason. Leah and her son Samuel W. and his children (wife Mary Caroline MIDGETTE) were in Dare County in the 1870 & 80 census. It appears Leah was born in 1796/97. Her husband, whom we know little about, was a Samuel Mason. Leah and her husband Samuel and son Samuel W. were listed, for some reason, in a Swindell Bible. All help will be greatly appreciated.
